Awareness, Education, Hope…
GAR is a UK-based charity established in direct response to increasing levels of HIV infection both in the UK and around the world.
We recognise that organisations require top-quality resources to help them deliver the right messages around HIV and AIDS, and other related sexual health issues. Our extensive experience in producing HIV and AIDS resources together with our collaborative working approach with key stakeholders has informed the design of our very popular awareness-raising materials.
In addition GAR has cited the need to help promote established AIDS projects in the worst affected country in the world.
There are currently 5.5 million people infected with HIV in South Africa and every day 600 people die on average from AIDS-related illnesses. AIDS decimates families and there are currently 1.1 million AIDS orphans living in the country.
By supporting the invaluable work of The Nelson Mandela Children's Fund you can assist in the fight against AIDS!
